To-morrow, it is the start of the new academic year for Naomi. In her country, school is expensive, very expensive. And for Naomi, it is even more expensive than for other people, because she is separated from her father. She sits under a tree, looking at the sun set. She is looking after her uncle’s goats, thinking about her father who has gone far away, very far from her and her village, to earn enough money, just enough money to feed them, her and her sisters, and to allow them to go to school. They cannot be with him, because the laws of the country where he is working do not allow this. And if he comes back, they would not even have enough money to eat, let alone go to school… Because, in her country, they have to pay for school! And it is very expensive!
